A talk on ringing herons and egrets…

An Evening about Herons: including an illustrated talk by Barry Trevis, HMWT Lemsford Springs warden, on ringing herons and egrets, and Dan Fletcher, RSPB St Albans Treasurer, on HeronWatch in Verulamium Park, St Albans.

RSPB St Albans is a local RSPB group led by volunteers and providing a range of events during the year, including weekend and mid-week walks, occasional events including talks and involvement opportunities, including HeronWatch, on the banks of Verulamium Lake from March to May each year.

This event will commence at 8.00pm and refreshments will be available on the conclusion of the talks. There will also be an opportunity to talk with representatives of RSPB St Albans to learn more about giving nature a home in Hertfordshire and beyond.
