Redbourn Village Museum – Coach Outing

September 15, 2016 @ 08:00 - 17:00

Continuing our 1600s theme, we could not let this year pass without a celebration of William Shakespeare, who died on his birthday, April 23rd in 1616, exactly 400 years ago this month. Incidentally, this is also St. George’s Day.

A coach outing on 15th September will include a visit to New Place, which was Shakespeare’s final home in Stratford-on-Avon. It is currently being restored and is due to reopen in July with new displays.

After free time for lunch and exploring the attractive town, our visit will finish with a boat trip on the River Avon.

So please make a date in your diary.

More details to follow.
