Church End No.11

This house was once a house village shop and there is still a post box in the wall outside. It is one of the oldest in the road, thought to be of the 17th century. This is especially noticeable if you look at the roof of the left roof which is steeply pitched with exposed purlins. On the right is an 18th century extension. It is of painted brick. Another interesting and unusual feature of the house can be found to the rear of the right block where there is a 17th century brick and timber frame stair turret.
