High St. No. 50

This building is 16th century or earlier with its style of the timber frame. In the mid-19th century it was covered on a brick façade. There is a plain tile roof and the upper windows have late 19th century sash windows. The door in the centre is very narrow. It is now a fish and chip shop but the tiles inside testify to its earlier use as a butchers – Marsh and Sons.
