Lamb Lane The Wall

Walking along Lamb Lane towards the common, the path is dominated by a high wall. Starting by Bell Cottage and running until the interruption by the opening to the Health centre. This was the original wall to Cumberland Lodge grounds. The building at the end is most likely to be a gardener's shed in the grounds of Cumberland House's walled garden.

The field entrance on Lamb Lane corner on Redbourn Common near Cumberland House, looked like this in 1952.
